In nauwe samenwerking met SCICOM VISUALS, Joost Bakker hebben we dit glaskunstwerk gerealiseerd.
I am thrilled to let you know that the “Spaghettified Antibody” is now exhibited in the main entrance hall at Genmab, Utrecht. After I developed the original computer model 2 years ago, Kunst & Licht & Glas in De Bilt worked very hard to capture the model in 60 glass plates.
Several people were very important to help me realize this project:
First of all, Jozé ten Have, Jorg van der Plank and Igor Fischl for materializing the model – thank you for your expertise and perseverance! Also Sigrid Ruuls from Genmab deserves a big thank you for her constant enthousiasm about the project. Finally, I will not forget mentioning the contribution of Daniel Versteegh – thanks for the fruitful discussions about possibilities to capture this 3D model!
